The menu runs from a $34 clipper cut and a 15‑minute beard trim through to starter locs, retwists, silk presses, perms, balayage and full blonding — fifty‑seven services in all, booked with the same five people in the same chairs. Most barbershops in Omaha do one half of that. Most salons do the other. Groom does both, which means you do not have to pick a place based on your hair texture.

- Do you accept walk-ins?
- Yes, walk-ins are welcome.
- Is there parking?
- Yes. We have designated Groom parking, and the entire lot is open to patrons.
- Do you cut kids' hair?
- Yes, we cut kids' hair.
- Do you cut Black and textured hair?
- Yes. Our team is trained to accommodate any texture of hair.
- Are you a barbershop or a salon?
- Both. We carry both licenses and work out of one shop, so the same five people handle fades, beard work and hot towel shaves alongside locs, retwists, silk presses, perms and colour. You do not have to pick a place based on your hair texture.
- How long does a loc retwist take, and what does it cost?
- Plan on about two hours. A standard retwist starts at $100, a 2-strand retwist starts at $125, and an interloc retwist starts at $175. Loc maintenance is two hours from $85. Current pricing is always on the booking page.
- How much is a silk press?
- A silk press is $65 and takes about an hour and a half.
- Do I need a consultation before starting locs?
- Yes. Starter locs, natural twists and loc extensions all begin with a 15-minute consultation, which is $15. Starter locs also take a $50 deposit at booking. It lets us look at your hair and give you a real answer on timing and upkeep before you commit.
- How long does it take to start locs?
- Starter locs run about four hours and begin at $250. Loc extensions are a longer appointment, around five hours, at $350. Both need a consultation first.
- Do you do colour and balayage?
- Yes. Single colour starts at $160, balayage at $175, and full blonding at $260. We also do perms from $180. Colour work is booked by appointment.
- How much is a haircut?
- A clipper cut is $34 and a faded haircut is $40. A 15-minute beard trim is $25, and a haircut with a beard shape runs $55 to $60.
